This month, our Lymedale site hosted the UK Warehouse Association (UKWA) Roadshow, and welcomed around 40 industry peers for a morning of discussion, insight and shared learning.
The event brought together businesses from across the sector to explore common challenges and opportunities. Our guests were welcomed by Tim Moran, who introduced Boughey’s journey so far and how we’re planning for the future. The agenda centred on the industry’s “three Ps”, people, power and property. With each session designed to offer practical perspectives on the pressures and priorities shaping our sector.
John Houghton, Facilities Manager for Lymedale and Crewe, joined a panel discussing building dilapidations and the process of preparing leased sites for hand back, an area where his previous experience brings valuable, real-world insight.
For many attendees, the day included a tour of the Lymedale facility, providing a chance to see first-hand how our teams operate. It was an opportunity not just to showcase what we do, but how we do it, safely, efficiently and with a clear focus on our customers. Thank you to all those on site who allowed the visit run smoothly and accomodating the visiors during your shifts.
Tim Moran said; “Hosting the UKWA Roadshow at Lymedale was a great opportunity to share the Boughey story and learn from others across the industry. It was great to welcome guests into the operation and give them a feel for how our teams deliver day in, day out.”
