The company has announce a new partnership with The Cat Radio station, based in Crewe. Alongside Boyd Consultants, we will undertake the role of patrons of the community radio station, offering support, business development advice and sponsorship that will enable the continuation of the volunteer-led organisation.
The Cat is a 24-hour, local station in the Crewe and Nantwich area, which has recently switched to DAB. Since winning their license in 2014, they now have over 40 volunteers presiding over the orginisation. They have recently interviewed company Directors, Angela Carus and Danny Earp in Des Machin’s Business segment.
Speaking about the new partnership, Angela said: “The team at The Cat provides an excellent broadcast service right in the heart of our local community and with a schedule that has something for everyone. What’s astonishing is that the station is run completely by volunteers.
“We have 800 colleagues working with us and the majority live in the Crewe and Nantwich area, so to provide sponsorship support for The Cat is an obvious and excellent partnership for us. With its audience figures on the increase, we look forward to working with the station as it continues to grow.”
