The company has announced a new partnership with Chance Changing Lives, a charity which supports homeless and vulnerable people in Crewe and Nantwich. Run by volunteers, the charity’s main focus is to provide vulnerable people with a hot meal, groceries and advice.
The company will provide Chance with surplus customer food which can be a result of forecasting issues, mislabeling or promotional items not selling as well as expected. Instead of products heading to landfill and with customer consent, the food is distributed to make a real difference to people’s lives.
All goods sent to Chance will go in their community pantry and go towards hot meals they prepare in their kitchens.
