Calveley Primary Academy have recently had a mural painted to welcome people into their school with a beautiful design, showing more about them.

Artist Rory McCann creates murals specializing in large-scale educational school projects, he has created many murals ranging from story book characters to an outer space design.

The mural created at the school was a beautiful display which the artist said was ‘all about growth, development, and our journeys. The Mural incorporates their school values – Happiness, Respect, Ambition, and Resilience and pays tribute to the animals that represent Calveley’s houses. Rory has also been busy within Calveley’s library, creating some inquisitive artwork to encourage the children to read with their favourite characters all around them.

Following a donation by the company, Managing Director Angela Carus stopped by the school to admire the new artwork.

Angela Carus said “The mural is incredibly beautiful and is a credit to the artist. As a company it is amazing at, we can help a local school with a project like this, and it’s great to see some of our own values are being implemented into these children at a young age.”
