Join Team Boughey as a Part Time – Goods In Clerk

We are currently recruiting two part-time Goods In Clerks for our Transport Scheduling team at Wardle, Nantwich.

The role of the Goods In Clerk is to work predominantly with internal customers (Warehouse, Customer Service and Transport teams) and 3rd party drivers. However regular contact with external companies will also be required. Goods In is a busy fast-paced department which requires good prioritisation skills and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Book in and co-ordinate third party drivers and ensure the required paperwork is accurate and is given to the correct department within the required time frame.
  • Run accurate reports from systems as requested.
  • Proactively strive for efficient and logical ways of working.
  • Accurately key in deliveries and orders into the S.A.P system.
  • Liaise with drivers, warehouse supervisors and goods in supervisor to rectify issues which arise
  • Escalate issues as appropriate.
  • To answer telephones and communicate information to customers and other departments where necessary
  • All paperwork is completed within the required timeframes and to an appropriate level of accuracy
  • Appropriate work is released accurately when instructed and any anomalies or concerns are noticed and escalated immediately.
  • Third party drivers are booked as required and the related processes are carried our without error and within reasonable time frames.
  • Data inputted into S.A.P meets agreed levels of accuracy.
  • All issues which arise are dealt with proactively and efficiently and are escalated where appropriate.
  • All colleagues and external contacts are communicated with in an appropriate manner which represents the company well and information is communicated clearly and politely.
  • Support and deliver on the Company mission, vision and live and promote the Company values.
  • Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements and in line with HARA, BRCGS and any other internal or external legislation/audits.
  • To be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health, Safety, environmental and welfare of yourself and others in your departments.

What we are looking for:

  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Math and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Desirable – good working knowledge of SAP.

What we offer:

  • Location: Based at Wardle, Nantwich, CW5 6RS.
  • Shift Patterns:
    • Monday, Tuesday and Friday – 3pm-11pm (22.5 hours per week).

OR

  • Wednesday, Thursday 3pm-11pm and Saturday 6am-2pm (22.5 hours per week).
  • Salary: £14,426.10 per annum – monthly paid.
