Join Team Boughey as a Delivery Service Administrator

We are currently recruiting a Delivery Service Administrator for our Transport team at Wardle, Nantwich.

The roles aim is to deliver exceptional customer service to ensure the smooth running of the Transport department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor delivery schedules in real time to identify any PVA (plan v actual) issues.
  • Liaise between all departments, customer depot drivers and transport return.
  • Liaise directly with drivers and delivery points to overcome any delivery issues and protect service levels.
  • Manage and monitor any failure or redelivery processes.
  • Monitor daily sub-contraction performance.
  • Create and monitor a ‘Sensitive’ delivery report to ensure deliveries with high customer sensitivity are successful.
  • Report all service level issues internally.
  • Communicate across all external and internal departments to ensure information is consistent and relevant.
  • Monitor stock left at off-site locations awaiting further processing or return.
  • Support and deliver on the Company mission, vision and live and promote the Company values.
  • Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements and in line with HACCP, BRCGS and any other internal or external legislation/audits.
  • To be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy. You will challenge the poor and promote good Health Safety Environmental practices by taking responsibility for the Health, Safety, environmental and welfare of yourself.

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to work well across functions both internally and externally.

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Positive and resilient proactive attitude.
  • A good level of understanding in IT systems would be an advantage. Full training specific to the role will be provided.
  • Basic knowledge of order processing and stock reconciliation.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel and Word.
  • Proactive in their approach to work.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability and willingness to problem solve.
  • SAP knowledge (not essential but would be a distinct advantage).

What we offer:

  • Location: Nantwich Road, Wardle, Nantwich, Cheshire, CW5 6RS.
  • Shift Pattern: 7am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).
  • Rate of Pay: £23,522.63 per annum – paid monthly.
