Steve leads Boughey’s transport operations and fleet, ensuring the delivery of a safe, efficient and fully compliant network.

He is committed to providing exceptional service for our customers and to building a strong, motivated transport team that makes Boughey a great place to work. Steve says he is proud to be part of a team that delivers outstanding service day in, day out.

Career Background

Joining Boughey in August 2025, Steve brings 30 years of experience in logistics from senior roles at DHL and WH Smith. His career has focused on working with Retail, FMCG, Consumer and Ecommerce customers, with expertise spanning transport, warehousing, fulfilment and co-packing. He believes Boughey is a business with huge potential, strongly positioned in the market thanks to the services it provides and the strength of its people. He enjoys working closely with customers and colleagues to build on Boughey’s strong foundations and support future growth.

Away from work

Outside of work, Steve is a keen cyclist and enjoys exploring the Derbyshire countryside where he lives. He is also a keen follower of sport, particularly football and rugby.
