As Finance Director, Sam leads the finance team with a clear focus on strengthening the financial foundations of the business. Since stepping into the role in early 2025, she has driven improvements in financial controls and processes, laying the groundwork for sustainable growth and long-term success.

Having spent two and a half years within the wider Group before moving to Boughey, Sam is now focused on strengthening alignment between Boughey and its parent company, creating synergies that will support innovation and scale

Career Background

Sam began her career at Deloitte, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010. Since then, she has held senior finance leadership roles across a diverse range of industries, from banking and fresh produce to healthcare pharmaceuticals. Although Boughey marks her first step into the logistics sector, she brings valuable experience in warehousing and distribution key components of previous roles, including managing financial processes for cross-border operations during Brexit. Before joining Boughey, Sam served as Group Financial Controller at NWF Group plc, Boughey’s parent company. This experience gave her deep insight into Boughey’s operations

Away from work

When she’s not out exploring with her two lively labradoodles or running the “Mum taxi” for her children, Sam enjoys unwinding with a good book and some quiet time to recharge.
