Tell us about your current role: I joined the company in September 2018 through an agency contract to work in the warehouse carrying out handballing work and took up a permanent role six months later. I work 12-hour shifts on a four days on, four days off basis from 6.00am to 6.00pm.
I hope to be able to gain my forklift truck/counterbalance licence soon and I have also completed my First Aid qualification.
What do you like most about working here? The working hours are good and the pay is good too. The managers do a great job and there are many opportunities to progress within the business.
The variety of shift patterns available here provide a great opportunity for lifestyle choices, for example, for family care. The four-on, four-off shift pattern offers real flexibility for me. I have a passion for computing after gaining two BTEC qualifications in the subject and on my four days off, I use this time to improve my computer skills and catch up on all the latest industry news and releases.
