Join Team Boughey as a Warehouse Hygienist – Nights

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Hygienist for our Night Warehouse team at Wardle, Nantwich.

Working as a member of a busy Warehouse team, the role will be responsible making sure all the areas of the Warehouse are operationally clean. The role will also involve carrying out basic repairs, general maintenance work and keeping/tidying of the grounds around the site.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and tidy Warehouse to BRCGS required standards.
Prioritise cleanliness and safety in the Warehouse to make it a suitable environment for all.
Clean the Warehouse area using industrial cleaning machinery, also the waste and recycling area.
Managing the continual stock of cleaning products for the Warehouse.
Keeps the Warehouse area clean and organised with regular deep cleans.
To abide by all Company Policies and Procedures.
Support and deliver on the Company mission and vision whilst living and promoting the Company values.
Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements and in line with HARA, BRCGS and any other internal or external legislation/audits.
To be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy. You will challenge poor and promote good Health Safety Environmental practices by taking responsibility for the Health, Safety, environmental and welfare of yourself.

Capable of operating mobile plant including Reach & Forklift truck.
A Hands-on approach to the work and a keen eye for detail.
Be able to work flexibly.
Have good DIY skills.
Reliable, on time and always ready to achieve the company tasks and responsibilities.
A team player who is honest, hardworking, works well under pressure and communicates.
Ability to carry out tasks alone.
Must be capable of managing time effectively and multi-tasking as necessary.
Ability to be self-driven and highly motivated.
Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.
Needs to have good relationships with all warehouse employees and management.
Working to standard operating procedures.
Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential.
Needs to be reasonably fit to cope with the lifting and carrying involved.

Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday – 10pm to 6am (37.5 hours per week).
Rate of Pay: £14.17 per hour paid weekly.
