Join Team Boughey as a Production Operative

We are currently recruiting a Production Operative for our Co-Packing Team at Wardle, Nantwich.

The purpose of the role is to undertake relevant production duties to ensure smooth running of operations and delivery of the daily production plan.

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure all key work is completed in a timely and professional manner.
Responsible for performance compliance.
Produce a quality product on time in full and follow agreed operating procedures and work instructions.
Work closely with team leaders, management and the quality team to drive improvement.
Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards.
Ensure accurate adherence to current practices and compliance with internal and external requirements.
Safe working practice awareness.
Actively undertake any training and development contributing to a high performing team.
To report all shortages and damages found to the Team Leader immediately.
Ensuring work areas are kept in a safe, clean, and tidy manner.
To abide by all Company Policies and Procedures.
Support and deliver on the Company mission and vision whilst living and promoting the Company values and principles.
Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements and in line with HARA, BRCGS and any other internal or external legislation/audits.
To be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy. You will challenge poor and promote good Health Safety Environmental practices by taking responsibility for the Health, Safety, environmental and welfare of yourself.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience of working within a food-based production environment.
Effective and flexible team worker.
Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skills.
Previous knowledge of WMS/SAP.
A positive attitude towards work and employee engagement, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Reliable, on time and always ready to achieve the company tasks and responsibilities.
A team player who is honest, hardworking, works well under pressure and communicates well.
Has an attention for detail.
Ability to be self-driven and highly motivated.
Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.

Location: Wardle, Nantwich, CW5 6RS.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off days, 12-hour shifts, 6am to 6pm (39.375 hours per week).
Salary: £12.05 per hour – paid weekly.
