Join Team Boughey as a Customer Production Administrator

We are currently recruiting a Customer Production Administrator for our Co-Packing Team at Wardle, Nantwich.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer orders, coordinating production schedules, production paperwork and the fulfilment process. You will work closely with various departments to ensure on time, in full deliveries for the customer. A successful Customer Production Administrator will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers using SAP for production inquiries and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and maintain SAP production systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Manage and prioritise customer orders from receipt to delivery.
  • Coordinate with production team to ensure all orders are fulfilled according to customer specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
  • Communicate with customers to provide order updates and address any concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve production and delivery challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer orders, invoices, and related documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the order process.
  • Actively undertake any training and development contributing to a high performing team.
  • Ensuring work areas are kept in a safe, clean, and tidy manner.
  • To abide by all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Support and deliver on the Company mission and vision whilst living and promoting the Company values.
  • Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements and in line with HARA, BRCGS and any other internal or external legislation/audits.
  • To be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy. You will challenge poor and promote good Health Safety Environmental practices by taking responsibility for the Health, Safety, environmental and welfare of yourself.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience of working within a food-based production environment with knowledge of BRCGS standards.
  • Proven experience working with SAP production modules.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
  • A positive attitude towards work and employee engagement, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Reliable, on time and always ready to achieve the company tasks and responsibilities.
  • A team player who is honest, hardworking, works well under pressure and communicates well.
  • Has an attention for detail.
  • Feels comfortable and can operate IT equipment.
  • Ability to be self-driven and highly motivated.
  • Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.

What we offer:

  • Location: Wardle, Nantwich, CW5 6RS.
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off days, 12-hour shifts, 5:45am to 6pm (40.25 hours per week).
  • Salary: £24,410.77 per annum – monthly paid.
