Join Team Boughey as a Warehouse Hygienist

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Hygienist to be part of our Warehouse team at Lymedale,
Newcastle- under-Lyme.

Working as a member of a busy Warehouse team, your role will be responsible for ensuring that all the
areas of the Warehouse are operationally clean. The role will also involve carrying out basic repairs,
general maintenance work and keeping/tidying the site and its grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and tidy Warehouse, paying close attention to all internal and external areas.
Prioritise cleanliness and safety in the Warehouse to make it a nice environment for all.
Clean the Warehouse area including the waste and recycling sections.
Operate industrial cleaning machinery.
Able to do general handyman roles as required setting out priorities to carry out basic repairs.
Managing the continual stock of cleaning products for the Warehouse.
Keepsthe Warehouse area clean and organised.
Able to carry out reach truck duties and other mobile plant when required.
Warehouse boundaries maintained (grass cut, fences maintained, pathways cleaned)
To be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health
and Safety and welfare of yourself and others.
Support and deliver on the Company mission, vision and live and promote the Company values.
Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to
Customer requirements and in line with HARA, BRCGS and any other internal or external legislation/
audits

What we are looking for:

A can-do attitude.
Someone who is self-motivated and can carry out the desired daily tasks on their own initiative.
A person who takes pride in housekeeping and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
Capable of operating mobile plant including Reach & Fork truck, can be trained if required.
A Hands-on approach to the work and a keen eye for detail.
Be able to work flexibly.
Have good DIY skills.
Reliable, on time and always ready to achieve the company tasks and responsibilities.
A team player who is honest, hardworking, works well under pressure and communicates.
Ability to carry out tasks alone.
Must be capable of managing time effectively and multi-tasking as necessary.
Ability to be self-driven and highly motivated.
Understanding and appreciation for safe manual handling practices and is Health & Safety aware.

Location: Pit Head Close, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 9QG
Shift Patterns: – Monday – Friday rotational (6am to 2pm/2pm to 10pm) is £11.71 per
hour (£439.13 per week gross)
