As World Earth Day 2023 approaches, we have decided to participate in this year’s global event to raise awareness of the importance of protecting our planet and its natural resources.
Due to loss of habitat, butterflies, bees, and other organisms that are critical to our biodiversity are declining. Planting a pollinator garden of native species will support our local populations by ensuring they have enough flowers to forage.
When they do this their bodies collect pollen and carry it to other plants. This helps fruits, vegetables and flowers to produce new seeds. The majority of plants need pollinators like bees and butterflies to reproduce.
To increase our natural habitat each employee will be given a wildflower seed bomb for you scatter in a location of their choice.
