With her wealth of industry knowledge and a forward-thinking approach, Emma is committed to helping businesses thrive, adapting to market trends, and delivering innovative logistics solutions. 

– How has Boughey adapted to the growing demand for logistics services?

Agility is one of our core values and we are constantly on the look out to improve the way we work, whether that be in relation to service levels, cost efficiencies, ESG and HSE. We aim to get closer to our customers, have a true understanding of the challenges that they face, and ultimately how we can support them achieve their brand goals.

– What challenges do you foresee for the industry, and how is Boughey preparing for them?

As with most industries, growing cost pressures are always at the front of mind, it’s a fine balance between ensuring we continue to deliver our excellent service levels for our customers, whilst running a sustainable business for our colleagues. There are already limited options for true consolidation and the benefits that delivers to our customers, therefore we have a duty to endure.

– What excites you most about Boughey’s future?

As a business we continue to push to ‘do better’ when it comes to customer satisfaction, and it is inspiring to see our teams live and breath this in all they do. We know this industry is extremely fast paced, and the ability to adapt and change is critical to success, that coupled with the ambitious growth plans we have as a business means there will never be a dull day!
