Join Team Boughey as a Workshop Administrator

We are currently recruiting a Workshop Administrator for our Garage Team at Wardle, Nantwich.

Working as a member of a busy Engineering Department, the office-based role will be responsible for carrying out all related administration duties to ensure the continued compliance of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the company fleet list of all trucks and trailers (180 trucks and 200+ trailers), keeping track of MOT, tachograph records and road tax dates in line with DVLA requirements.
  • Collaborating with Compliance, Transport & Planning departments to ensure both service requirements and legal compliance are maintained.
  • Compiling weekly service reports for Management to track and monitor maintenance and service timings and compliance for trucks and trailers.
  • Working with the Group Fleet Engineer and Workshop Supervisor, ensuring the service and MOT schedules are in alignment with DVLA requirements.
  • Working with the Transport Director to complete a monthly DVLA Earned Recognition database with MOT success rates, service timings and defects submitted/completed.
  • Liaise with Transport department daily regarding availability of service trailers and trucks.
  • Maintain the future service planner and Inspection sheet filing in alignment with DVLA requirements.
  • Assist in DVLA audits to ensure compliance is maintained.
  • Monthly audit of credits hours from Volvo supply company against actual work completed.
  • Supporting HR/HSE activities keeping training records up to date and compliant & arranging Industry training for workshop Technicians (IPAF, IRTEC, 1st Aid, Fire Marshall etc.).
  • Supporting HR/Payroll activities keeping working hours of Technicians and ensuring correct holiday/sickness and overtime is recorded.
  • Monitoring Technician’s workwear & liaising with external company regarding use and renewal.
  • Completing all paperwork and documents as the position requires.
  • To maintain a high-quality standard with due regard to the area’s requirements.
  • Ensuring work areas are kept in a safe, clean and tidy manner.
  • To abide by all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Support and deliver on the Company mission and vision whilst living and promoting the Company values.
  • Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements and in line with HARA, BRCGS and any other internal or external legislation/audits.
  • To be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy. You will challenge poor and promote good Health Safety Environmental practices by taking responsibility for the Health, Safety, environmental and welfare of yourself.

What we offer:

  • Location: Wardle, Nantwich, CW5 6RS.
  • Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday – Day shift – 24 hours per week – hours to be discussed on interview.
  • Salary: £16,585.92 per annum – paid monthly.
