Join Team Boughey as a Key Account Manager

We are currently recruiting a Key Account Manager for our Customer Service team at Lymedale, Newcastle-under-Lymedale.

This role will assist the Contracts Manager and the Customer service Manager with the service management of larger customer accounts.

In addition to having customer focused responsibilities, you will also act as first line support for a number of personnel within the Customer Service Department. You will provide daily support, mentoring and coaching to a team of Key Account Controllers, with the goal of assisting the Customer Service Manager in nurturing and developing a team capable of delivering best-in-class Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly and quarterly KPI review meetings with Assigned customers, as required. Be available to support other activities such as Audits and stock takes.
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships with clients in order to develop a constantly improving service and achieve profitable business growth
  • Assist the contracts manager with holding regular customer reviews and provide them with clear business and operational reports with supporting analysis.
  • Assist with ensuring all operational performance standards are met, monitored, and maintained in accordance with contractual service level agreements.
  • Seek opportunities to develop self.
  • Ensuring operational and performance control through the establishing of operational KPI’s.
  • Maximise the weekly, monthly, and annual performance of Customers service levels.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Key account controllers, providing first line support where required.
  • Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements and in line with HARA, BRCGS and any other internal or external legislation/audits.
  • Support and deliver on the Company mission, vision and live and promote the Company values.

  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time-to-time.

  • Previous experience of working with high profile Contracts.
  • Must have the ability to communicate at all levels of the management structure.
  • Develop and constantly improve on service.
  • Process driven, have the ability and willingness to strive for continuous improvement and conduct RCA.
  • Have strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Be proficient in IT programs such as SAP, Excel and Word.

What we offer:

  • Location: Based at Lymedale, Newcastle-under-Lyme (ST5 9QG).
  • Shift pattern – Monday to Friday (08:30 to 17:00 hours – 60 mins unpaid lunch break)
  • Hours per week – 37.5
  • Salary – £29,200.50 per annum – paid monthly
  • Holidays – 33 days per annum inclusive of Bank holidays.
  • Option to purchase up to 5 days holiday.
